Campaign Summary:
The 20/20 Giving Campaign is 20 years in the making! In March of 2022, I will celebrate 20 years on the field in Belo Horizonte, Brazil with Campus Outreach. We are excited to look back and celebrate. We are also looking forward to being poised and prepared for the next 20 years. I would love it if you guys follow along with me using our media outlets and enjoy reliving the ups and the downs over the next weeks and months, and to see God's faithfulness along a score of years.
The second 20 of the 20/20 campaign is a lofty goal, but one I am determined to chase to be prepared for whatever God brings our way for the next 20 years of life and ministry. Starting in December of 2021 and going through April of 2022, we are attempting to raise $20,000 in one-time donations.
The $20,000 goal has 2 reasons behind it: 1) to adjust to our current financial load (we have shared about this along this year) without investing time away from the field in order to raise new monthly support, 2) to be well prepared for our next season. We have spent 20 years striving to live a contextualized Brazilian reality. The next 20 years may have us somewhere here or somewhere else; we want to be prepared for whatever might come.
I want to thank those who have partnered with us over these 20 years, and those who have participated in the 1-Time campaigns over the past few years. These campaigns have been the reason we could stay on the field. I know COVID has impacted many people in different ways, and do not wish to seem insensitive. However, I believe that this is what our next season of life and ministry requires, and invite you to join us in this campaign.
Let's celebrate together what God has done and pray that God would do this and much more in the years to come.
